MBFW: Vivienne Tam from the Nose Bleed section aka Standing Room

A mix of bohemian guitar strings and alternative music set the mood for the show.  Well-crafted sundresses and casual wear in a simple and clean color palette make this a great lifestyle collection.  Models had long wavy locks and simple music; strong seventies and bohemian influences in the overall look and tone.  Also, an almost Amish style was prevalent in the simplicity of the finishing of some of the pieces.

Tam’s casual chic collection has several beautifully embroidered garments, making it dressy enough to wear out, but with soft materials you would happily wear all day long.  I could definitely see Amanda Siegfried wearing this line.  My personal favorite look was a pair of loose printed pants in a sleek silky material that tapered at the heels.  Very chic, all of us in the back decided to give the show a standing ovation :).
