Shedding the retail look for once, J. Crew’s new menswear only boutique takes the place of shabby chic Tribeca stop Liquor Store Bar. With the help of Andy Spade, the brand translated the antiquated and charming appeal of the small store into a boutique in line with the preppy attitude of the brand, with well thought out presentations set up around the room; ties neatly rolled up in glasses above the liquor or hanging along the bar, sweaters hanging along the mantel of an old fireplace, and old pictures, french horns, and little knickknacks placed in wardrobe sets. Really has that Good ol’ boys feeling to it!
Way to stray from the beaten path, J. Crew!
