Romantic Nail Colors to Try Now

As we are nearing the end of January, the dark polishes are starting to feel mundane, but it’s so gloomy out that bright, spring-worthy colors don’t feel right either. Before you default to a neutral, try something girly and romantic to get you in the mood for pre- Valentine’s Day festivities!

Pinky Swear!

You can never go wrong with a soft pink and a little sparkle. It works for pretty much everything including dresses, shoes, nails, and champagne 🙂

We all know how fun it is to remove glitter nail polish, so try keeping the glitter to a minimal — e.g., just paint one finger with the glittery shade and coordinate with a softer pink for the remaining nails.  If you are a gel lover, try the Gelish Pink Lilac Sparkle shade.  It is such a cute color and won’t be a (you know what) to get off your nail.

Mint Condition

Mint is a great transitional color that’s just so soft and whistful (and totally on-trend I might add).  For a little added flair, mix this color with a black or dark brown design (hearts, polka dots, or rhinestones are my faves) for a look that’s as yummy as an Andes treat!

The Dot Factor

Channel your inner Kate Spade with an easy polka dot design that would do her proud.  Loving this right now, it is so ladylike and seems to match with everything!

Gray is sophisticated and skimming the edge of a dark color (in case you just aren’t ready to let go of those yet). This matte tone is hot and coordinates with alot of winter and spring tones. Plus, you can add an accent color in a soft tone (like pink or lavender).
